Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Mera7 (“the Service”), operated by Mera7 (“we”, “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. What Mera7 does

Mera7 is an AI-powered fit analysis tool for B2B software evaluation. It researches publicly available information about companies and vendor products, then generates a structured fit memo with evidence-backed conclusions.

2. Accounts

  • You need a valid email address to use the Service (via Google sign-in or magic link).
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • One person or entity per account. Do not share credentials.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate misleading, defamatory, or harmful content.
  • Attempt to extract proprietary data about vendors beyond what is publicly available.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API or any part of the Service.
  • Use automated tools to submit evaluations at scale without prior agreement.
  • Upload malicious files or content designed to exploit the system.

4. Content and intellectual property

  • Your data: you retain ownership of everything you upload (files, answers, chat messages).
  • Generated memos: fit memos are generated by AI based on public and user-provided data. You may use, share, and export them freely.
  • Our platform: the Mera7 platform, branding, and underlying technology remain our intellectual property.

5. AI-generated content disclaimer

Mera7 uses AI to generate fit analyses. While we strive for accuracy:

  • AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.
  • Memos are not professional advice (legal, financial, or otherwise).
  • You should verify critical claims independently before making business decisions.
  • Fit verdicts reflect AI assessment based on available data, not guarantees of product suitability.

6. Vendor terms

If you are a vendor using Mera7:

  • You provide product information (Product Profile) to enable fit analysis for your prospects.
  • You receive access to analytics and public memos when buyers engage (e.g., schedule a call).
  • You never receive access to buyer private data (uploaded files, internal memos, private enrichment).
  • Usage is subject to your plan limits (memo generations per month or credits).

7. Pricing and payment

  • Buyers use Mera7 for free.
  • Vendors start with a free tier. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly as described on our pricing page.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honored through the current billing period.

8. Service availability

  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime.
  • We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice when possible.
  • We rely on third-party services whose availability we do not control.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mera7 is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Business decisions made based on AI-generated memos.
  • Inaccuracies in publicly sourced data.
  • Service interruptions or data loss beyond our reasonable control.
  • Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 100, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

  • You can stop using the Service at any time.
  • You can request deletion of your account and data by emailing us.
  • We may terminate your access for violation of these terms, with notice when practical.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
